Sorry your pipe got broken. I will try not to break mine. I don't smoke while doing anything more active than sitting and reading, or watching the world. Not reenacting a battle. Should be safe. Did you get it lit at the forge?
@Carol Yes I did get it lit from the forge ?!
Bought 2 new clays this weekend.

You have no idea ! The property qualifies as a National Wildlife Habitat under all categories when i get around to sending in the paperwork to get certified and get a plaque ! The mothers all drop their young off here while they go forage. I even have a picture of a baby mountain lion napping on a rock about 35 lbs.
Where are you located? I really miss cardinals and their song.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and smoked a bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Working and listening to Bergen and McCarthy.

Yorktown in my clay pipe with the Redcoats and Revolutionaries at Cromford Mill.
The church warden pipe is still usable after breaking the stem.
Not buying any more church warden pipes and keeping my other one unsmoked.
I enjoyed the firing demonstration and getting my clay pipe lit from the forge ?!
Only 4 clay pipe era re-enactments this year now.
The tricorn hat and clay pipe go well with the Redcoat uniform!
Bought a handmade clay pipe at Cromford and a Southorn of Broseley pipe from an antiques shop in Matlock.
Went to the Boat Inn for a pint and a pipe.

Finished work for the day, threw catnip balls to Suzy and Molly, and am closing in on the half way mark on this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to check out the forum now.
