Popped open a tin of Orlik Golden Sliced. One flake fit very nicely into my MM bent Ozark Mountain hardwood. This is my first attempt with flake (fold and stuff).

Perique or not, it is very nice.

Did some snacking, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite p-lip stem. First time smoking this pipe. Going to work soon.

If you're just a few months in, that's way too early for aromatics. Those can take years of learning good smoking techniques to fully enjoy.
