I obviously spaced out that it was a new month. I got a lovely new Balandis Bog Oak Horn delivered this morning. They’re a great family owned Polish Company with great customer service and great pipes. I’ve had a few bowls out of this today, the bowl is 2x5 cm so you get nice long, smooth smoke. It kinda blows the mind that this could be up to ten thousand years old. It’s got a natural finish with tones of grey and brown and I couldn’t be happier with it. Right now I’m going to have my last smoke of the day, Germain’s RJ Perique. image.jpg

Celebrating @weezell retirement instead of the commie day. He's no longer a worker so International Worker's Day ain't relevant. Derringer in a Falcon with Bantam dublin.
I'm not celebrating this commie day either...or Cino de Mayo which hapoens to be Karl Marx birthday and didn't celebrate Earth Day as it is also Lenin's birthday. Coincidence?????....I think not....and this rant was brought to you while smoking LLRR in a black Moonshine Cob pictured below next to the Dagner I smoked earlier. 20210501_175656.jpg

Love your pipe. I've been wanting one in a traditional shape like yours, but have found most of them too expensive.
BTW I just purchased a Sterkowski cap from Poland that arrived this week and it is very well made. Poland makes high quality products!

Used my 40th bday knife made by a friend of mine’s father to cut up some well aged Gawith Hoggarth Brown Bogie. Will be smoking this in a little while in a Stanwell Royal Danish around a fire pit while enjoying some beers with friends. Haven’t had the Brown Bogie before....so wish me luck lol!

Quick test twist containing: lemon, bright, dark fired, dark air cured Virginias, and some Katerini. It's naturally good and slightly sweet, without the addition of absolutely anything except some steaming. A little processing of this raw leaf will help accentuate some of the natural qualities of the leaf.

Did a little snacking, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2017 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Watching the Braves-Jays game.
