Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

One of my objectives has been to attempt to blend an English-style mixture from the raw constituent leaf. This is tricky in particular because processed base components may be pleasant on their own but not necessarily work synergistically with other component leaf. I think this is the first time I can honestly say I've made a mixture that was more than the sum of its parts. Clockwise from noon: bright Virginia, toasted bright, dark air cured, two varieties of Oriental, red Virginia Cavendish, and (center) a conservative dose of Périque and Latakia.

Enjoying this surprisingly good mixture in a Charatan Belvedere.

I do the same thing sometimes... many times it works, sometimes not. ?

Good morning all! Starting with SG 1792 Flake mixed with Wilke Chocolate in a small Burak Connoisseur smooth Tankard with tapered stem. Herbal tea on the side. Deciding whether to open early (three months) one of five new GL Pease blends I picked up on sale and jarred.

Half way through this bowl of year 2013 Solani 633 in a 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Still cleaning estate pipes. One of them is very stubborn about getting clean. Reminds me of somebody I know! ;)
