Two pipes are planned for this evening. First bowl ever of Mac Baren Virginia No. 1 Ready Rubbed is loaded in my MM Country Gentleman. I will follow that with my bowl ever of Rattrays Wallace Flake Plum folded and stuffed into a MM bent Ozark Mountain hardwood. I will likely be watching a storm pass through here.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, French cut pork chops and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Expresso #9, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Mets game.

One of my ol favs. Wilke 191 in a old “ Mayfair London Made” bent, tasting mighty good. A sip of bourbon and baseball on the radio. Mama has some BLT’S in the mix.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2017 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
Now enjoying some Peterson's Irish Flake in a cob. The tin was opened about a month ago, and I much prefer it now than when fresh.
When Basil Meadows agreed to make me a Merchant Service pipe, I asked TWHunter, who used to post here, to send me the specs of his MS. Tim had two of them, both made many years back. He gave us very detailed specs so Basil could make an exact copy. That's what I go by.
