Dunhill Root Briar 'Bulldog' in a Group 4 - my first from 1978 and probably the most often smoked back in the day of all my pipes + Samuel Gawith SQUADRON LEADER which seems like an appropriate smoke considering the recent VE Day anniversary:-

The 'Bulldog' - a classic and most pleasing shape if ever there was one separated by almost one hundred years from these other two examples with similar sized bowls:-

Left: Unbranded . . . F.E (Frederick Elkington) on the silver band stamped for London 1884 with meerschaum screw bowl.
Centre: Bott & Turner's Patent . . . L.B (Louis Blumfeld) on the silver band stamped for Birmingham 1896.
