About a third of a bowl left of MacBaren Three Nuns Green in a 2018 smooth straight flame grain Basil Meadows Merchant Service "Bing" replica with an aluminum band and black ebonite stem. Have enough left for one more bowl.
Almost half way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Burlier Morning Pipe in a mid-70s straight smooth octagonal paneled Jeanet (made by Chacom) billiard with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
W Ø Larsen Craftsman edition in a Peterson Spigot on a windy day. Temperature drop of over 10C overnight here in DK, from a summer Sunday to a Monday with ice-cold wind from the North. Several conclusions:
For me wind is THE main obstacle to enjoy a smoke (since I don't smoke indoors). I can deal with cold, rain and heat, but wind is just a no-go
I am really not getting used to the Peterson P-lip
The Larsen Tobacco is OK, but since I get these as a gift in 100g boxes with each Estervals delivery I now have 300gr to smoke through. Will take a while..
I like that the tin has a (old) map of inner Copenhagen on it, including the location of my workplace (in normal times)
However: W Ø Larsen seems to be one of these "ghost" brands, where the actual traditional Shop that was behind it (beautiful historic store in Copenhagen) closed many years ago, but the story and name is kept alive for business purposes
Last smoke of the day is Wilke #515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Phone chatting about stuff.
