I've never been more busy in my life, sorry for my absence. I enjoy being on the forums as much be as anyone, if not more. But for right now and the next few weeks my time will continue to be very limited. I'll be back to daily postings soon though.

Currently smoking be Seattle Pipe Club Hood Canal. Smoking this in a smaller pipe for a change, and it has changed the flavor considerably. It seems much more sweet.

Dunhill Bruyere 'Billiard' in a Group 3 . . . another from 1979 + STG's INDIAN SUMMER:-

The 'Billiard' - one of the true classic shapes - along with the Bent, the Bulldog and the Dublin - first seen in these proportions around the turn of the 20th cent. Before that, in the 1880s and 1890s, the 'Billiard' had a more elongated bowl although the aforementioned other shapes are little changed compared to modern iterations. That said, these shapes were a big change from the earliest briars of the 1860s and 1870s which were similar in shape to clay pipes of the era and of earlier eras with forward thrusting bowls and flattened or tapered spurs under the bowls.

Modern Dunhill 'Billiard' (1979) compared to a BBB 'Billiard' from 1903:-

Just finished off MR ribeye ?, pasta bruschetta, & roasted garlic brussel sprouts. Letting a bit of RDF dry before loading it into this Savinelli Antique Shell Dublin 413 KS. Gonna pair it with dark roast ☕️. Hope you’re all enjoying at least as well as I am!?View attachment 29046

You're living right, my brotha.
