Finished off my Saturday with some 50th Anniversary in a Peterson's Summertime.
Peterson Elizabethan Mixture in a Askwith prince, drinking black coffee.
Perhaps the British Officer fears his coffee has been poisoned, and is forcing his man servant to take the first taste? If he dies, it will be a blow, so hard to find good help. Still, it will set an example, and help keep the others in line.
Diving into some KBV Sakura for the first time. Using my trusty Jobey Dansk half moon freehand for the task. I’m a little trepidatious because of the Burley content, but, nothing Ventured nothing gained. (Pun intended.)

Currently smoking a 3-1 mixture of Argentine twist and Borkum Riff Vanilla Cavendish in my Barbic. Not very keen on the BR on its own but when a little is added to the stronger tasting twist it adds a touch of 'je ne sais quoi' to it.
Just finished a bowl of PS English Luxury, a tasty temperate blend, in a smooth bent Gianni billiard my sister sent me from her trip to Rotterdam, The Netherlands, but clearly an Italian pipe, so stamped. Great little pipe, passes a pipe cleaner, ample bowl, good smoking about every time.
Dig that pipe... gonna go looking around for something like that.
