Did some low calorie snacking, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Harry the Hairy is inside eating, but Daisy the Feral Princess is unhappy about it. She's been my feet while Harry's been in the kitchen, but finally decided to go eat. Daisy gets her way almost all the time.

I feel, as if I have been kicked like a fresh cauliflower. Still no smoking and no alcoholic beverages. Just reading and resting. And a few cocktails of pills. But happy to see fellow members on the forum, smoking and enjoying their favorite tobaccos. I wish you a happy Saturday. God bless you.View attachment 382096
Hope your feeling better quickly

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Finished cleaning estate pipes for the day. Not sure that the British Butner reamer I've been using is sharp enough to do a better job.

Now smoking first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar family era Barling’s Make Billiard 6 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The stampings suggest 1930s, but the “6” is a previously unknown stamp number and placement. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. It's my first time smoking this pipe. The bowl is a tad heavy, but clenchable. I'm thinking of making it a reading pipe so I picked an easy burning blend for it. I don't think this pipe was ever smoked much because it wasn't near as hard to clean as other estate pipes that I've had over the years. It looks like it was just made although the Barling cross on the stem is faint. There's no ghosts or lingering flavors from the past so it shouldn't take long to break it in. I wonder if David ever smoked it. Going to read baseball box scores now.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2022 unreleased Sutliff Brown Virginia Flake in a straight smooth brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam billiard 27 Canadian patent 341422 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.
