Strangely enough, I bought some of this along with Crooner last year when mowing the edges a field for a neighbor with a DR brush trimmer and at first did not really think much of it, but now seem to want the burley/deertongue combo for mowing. Probably has something to do with the grass/hay notes in the air in combination with that flavor profile. The problem I have is that I can't remember which one I liked better so I might have to buy two tins again and compare.
I started my cadence way too fast, and got hit by tongue bite and a bitter taste immediately, then I slowed down a lot and it started to sweeten, it reminded me more of a nutty burley blend than most virginias I've smoked. I loaded up a second bowl and enjoyed that one even more, I think this is my first VaPer, will be adding it into my rotation!

Cheers to the Mississippi Sound, Ocean Springs is a little gem of a vacation spot. Zero commercial touristy crap, or commercial resorts, and all just family run businesses. Lots of art came from this area, Walter Anderson, tons if caramics and Arts And Craft era architecture. As well as huge gothic mansions.
Come if you want to fight a marlin, or just chill on some nice beaches… with the alligators. Or, take a walk through the bayou and check out some cranes. Or just chill to some swamp rock.

Just finishing this bowl of 1970s Heine's Blend in a 2013 medium bend Spillproof corndog cob with a triangular briar shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of straight perique 2 in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. I got a couple of straight periques to check out.
