More ranch chores today, as this warm weather spell ain't gonna last. Capped it all off with a bowl of Mac Baren Vanilla Flake in a Savinelli Mattone 614 faux-Hungarian. Thought I may have overdried it, but turned out just right. 9/10

Bird report: White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, Steller's jay, American crow, Cooper's hawk (whose presence caused lots of the others to take a powder for a while), Mountain chickadee, Lewis' Woodpecker (first sighting!), Hairy woodpecker, Northern flicker, Spotted towhee, Mourning dove, California quail, American robin, Western bluebird, and White-breasted nuthatch. 'Bout the fullest cast I've seen in some time.

Speaking of birds, more chicken leftovers tonight. 🍗

Yeti is the pipe, Whimsical is the blend. Yeti pipes are made by Micah Cryder. Whimsical is a blend that was made by Sutliff as part of a series that Per Jensen put together. It is made up of several VAs (but it leans red) and a good bit of perique.
Ahh I misread it. I was like, never heard of yeti. Thought it may have been a home blend.

A third of the way through this bowl of first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' by my feet. Tomato the Brave just came in to eat.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2019 HU Directors Cut in a smooth slight bend dark brown 1940s-1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 228C prince with a tapered black vulcanite stem. After I typed my last post, Tomato the Brave jumped on the left arm of my chair, and I gave him head and back scratches. As soon as I stopped, he headbutted my arm, and then put his paws on my laptop. I put the laptop on the table, and he took a short snooze on my lap. Right before it was my snack time, Tomato got up and went to the kitchen to snack. After that he laid by my feet, and is still there.

Last smoke of the day is D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth brown undated (Colossal) Custom Made Natural Grain Algerian Briar Made In France Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a while, but it'll have a little action as I read.
