I remember those days well. I'd wake up, glance over at the wife and try to look like i was sleeping a little while longer hoping maybe she'd stir. I realized later it was really just both of us seeing who'd cave first. Try to enjoy the ride, it's not a long one - though it can feel like it when you're still in the thick of it all.

Next thing you know they're 21. In a perfect world it eventually comes full circle. Case in point: my daughter got up and made me breakfast today. A rare treat.

Hahaha, my wife is fairly notorious for giving me a little "love tap" to the shins when it's my turn to jump into daddy duties. But thank you so much for the reassurance. It's a good reminder that these are the "good old days" that I'm living right now. Even if I'm half dead at work today

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Fed all the ferals, and only Harry the Hairy is outside. Tomato the Brave ate a lot, Abner the Eager, not much, and Harry did well for himself. Not walking today because of the strong winds.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Gold in a post-WWII Bertram 60 straight smooth dark brown squat bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Yesterday, I had a Canadian day. Today will be a bulldog day. Since @Briar Lee started a thread about Bertrams, I though he may want to see this pipe.

I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a straight sandblasted black post-1938 (Comoy’s) Made in England Ancestor bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. M'lady feeding Abner the Eager, who's been very sleepy today.
