Seeing this post again upon a second scroll-through of the thread, that pair of chicken houses really does deserve an upgrade of like to love. Awesome work there.Today's beater was the Ropp J11P,
Started with CRF+TS20 (one more smoke and that’ll be gone finally), then it was back and forth between Kendal #7 and Ryback+P all day.
Finally round up enough tin from scrap on the property to get the coop/run to mama’s liking. FedEx didn’t get her hardware cloth delivered until late afternoon, so it’ll be finished tomorrow hopefully.
The pullets still have a couple weeks until they go outdoors for good.

Ugh, I miss a good March or April snow. I miss the Rockies! Beautiful picIn between Scrabble matches w/wifey, we went out to the workspace for a match of gin rummy. Cigarillo for her, Mac Baren Plumcake in a Barling sandblasted egg for me. Very glad to have gone extra deep on this blend. 9/10

Chicken and potatoes for dinner, as I continue my protracted celebration of gold's $3,000/oz. milestone yesterday. I said on a long since locked Bitcoin thread that I would crack a tin of Ashton Gold Rush when gold hit 3k. For anyone who remembers this promise, please give me a bit more time, as I need to free up a jar! But I fully intend to do it.

BTW this forum needs a cigar emoticon . . . . can't find one.
You have excellent taste in lighters, Sir! I just bought one of those today at the Muletown show. I just LOVE that simple tobacco plant.I had to miss out on dinner plans tonight so I can catch up on logging my hours towards licensure. Keeping me company in the garage is myfalcon loaded with Pegasus. Also, my new zippo came in so I was excited to filler her up and use it.
I was able to see my grandmother earlier and she's out of a coma. Her eyes are still closed and she has a long road to recovery but all things considered, she's doing much better. She even squeezed my hand at few times after I cracked a joke about being her handsomest grandson. She's 96 years young, mostly blind, but still tough as nails
It's been a good day

Haha, great minds think alike! I couldn't agree more, it was just too cool to pass up. Sounds like Muletown was hoot and you came home with a lot of goodies. I look forward to seeing your new pipes, baccy, and zippo in action here! You have excellent taste in lighters, Sir! I just bought one of those today at the Muletown show. Sorry about the laugh emoticon, but I do have a black sense of humour. My mom was never pleased about this . . .You start giving treats, don’t they all? My favorite is the Ph.D. studying a camel. He brought the camel a Coke every morning. The local news did stories on what a great relationship they had. One morning, he forgot, and the camel…killed him. No kidding. I’m thankful that horses can’t quite get their mouths open as far as a camel can, enough to fit the average human skull inside.
