After a lunch of quinoa, humus and salsa topped with balsamic glaze I loaded up a small bowl of Evening Flake in a MM mizzou that I had packed last night. The extra dry and air time did wonders bringing out the small amount of perique and sweetness of the virginia.

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Two bowls in. I like EGR. It’s an aromatic but not overly sweet. I like aromatics in general. I won’t pretend to taste it like JimInks does. I don’t taste Latakia as much as smell a hint of it. I like the plum taste. Burley is always good with me. I will add it to my regular rotation.

Well, decided to extend by “short” pipe smoke and delay a few outside chores until later.
Prepared a third of a flake of 4th Generation Evening Flake in the IK Meer. First time smoking this blend. A cup of coffee riding shotgun.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am having my first smoke of Seattle Pipe Club Virginia Jazz in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow stem. Working on a review of this blend.

Second bowl. Pipe is a house pipe from The Briary. Stamped The Briary. It’s a great smoker! I like aromatics. I like EGR.
