First a bowl of home blend Balkan, 50% Star of the East with 25% each GH Dark Bird's Eye and C&D Izmir, smoked in a 7.5oz Ser Jacopo MAXIMA MAXIMA MAXIMA MAXIMA Billiard.
This blend is somewhat designed to burn well in a large bowl, with half the blend consisting of turkish and shag I can't imagine it ever not burning well. Very enjoyable from that perspective, though I might add more Latakia.

Alongside was a bowl of 70/30 GH Kendal Kentucky and Sutliff 515-RC1 smoked in a 1.34oz James Barber B82 Biliard (Barber B-line Ruby Bark Quarter Bent Chimney Pipe - J.N. Barber Limited - https://www.smoke.co.uk/acatalog/B53---Barber-B-Line-Ruby-Bark-Group-3-10817.html) which has a beautifully thin stem and after straighening the stem and re-drilling the button may as well be the one of the best pipes ever made.
