Morning Chaps! 5 AM start at my desk so I guess I am picking up the grave yard shift from Jim Inks! I am starting my day off with a bowl of Erinsun - that snappy mixture of Bosun's Plug and Erinmore, when you absolutely have no other way of ploughing through a tin of Erinmore you purchased because the store had nothing else to sell you! I am being assisted in this endeavor with this slightly longer than the norm meerschaum 'cutty' pipe with silver band and faux amber stem replacing the 1870s original stem courtesy of Briarville Pipe Repair. In the words of Jim Inks my drink de jour is a small Expresso whilst I quickly glance at the online version of The London Times. Enjoy your day and we can catch up later.

@condorlover1 I've smoked some Erinmore Flake in my clay pipes; I found it rather moist on opening and I thought it a bit of a damp squib...
Tasted nice though but took some lighting and most of the smoke was actually steam caused by the moisture being burned off...
On the plus side it came in a metal tin with a paper lining so no plastic packaging.
Got my supplies ready for the Jamestown re-enactment on Saturday; I'll be taking one of my Jamestown clays and some Virginia Cake & Cannon Plug to smoke in it.
Bought 20g of loose Gawith Hoggarth Black and Brown last week, re-using an empty Clan packet.
Met a fellow pipe smoker in Chesterfield today; I might swap bowls with him (he smokes Clan) after the Jamestown re-enactment if I have my pipe baccy with me.

Enjoyed a tasty cinnamon raisin French toast lunch and orange slices for a second day in a row, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Mac Baren Original Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1918 Pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 2 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Gold Star Mocha, neat, is my drink.

I have to branch out, but I'm smoking GLP Barbary Coast, cube cut burley based, in a Luciano slightly bent smooth author stamp-dated 2013, as they do or did all their pipes. Just toasted some NYC Zabar's bagels for me and my wife, real bagels rather than the bread baked ones sold at the local grocery. A friend sent them for my wife's birthday. Yes!

Amazingly, the storm stopped and the sun came out, so I got in a set of walking reps and am close to finishing this bowl of
year 2016 Orlik Golden Sliced in a smooth brown medium bend Abbott 788 (Sasieni family era) author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
