You know that when you first look at that pipe it resembles one of those hotel room toilets! No offense but I often wonder what goes through the minds of the carvers at IMP!!
I had to take the 1914 Charles Maas pipe I just got to a local jeweller today, yesterday as I went to have only it’s second smoke the silver band came off and I don’t have the right glue or clamps to repair it myself, I guess 108 years will do that to whatever bond they used. I’m not too upset about ??.
My neighbour caught some Sea Bass yesterday and gave me a couple so I’m firing up the barbecue as it’s such a beautiful day here, new potatoes with a white wine and parsley sauce and perhaps some asparagus too.
I’m going to be smoking some Escudo in the Kikob poker on my way to the shops for a bottle of vino to wash it down.
Going to fire up this Poul Hansen pipe with Haunted Bookshope shortly. This beauty was gifted to me by @scloyd and is by far the best looking pipe I now own, and one I will cherish for years to come.
Good afternoon. After a happy day at work, and a well deserved lunch. Let's start smoking with. dt: Veermaster Hamborger, in a Stanwell Calabash. And a mug irish coffee. The infernal sandstorm from Sahara continues. We need heavy rain, everything is dyed reddish brown, it looks like a ghost town. I wish you a happy weekend.
Smoking a third generation 3 Star Lee. Typically, the gen 3 pipes are a f less quality, but this Pot proves the exception. WCC 558 aged for over a year is the smoke of the day.
