Good morning all. Haunted Bookshop in a Rossi Vittoria Billiard. It strikes me that something in the Viittorias diminishes tobacco taste. Useful for when I smoke blends that tend toward biteyness, but otherwise, not so much fun. I might try sanding the bowls down to get rid of the coatings. My three Vittorias have been smoked quite a bit already but the issue has not gone away. Any advice or shared experiences welcome.
I will pay more attention the next time I use my Vittoria. Now that you mention it though, I may have noticed a lesser taste the last time I smoked it. May all be in my mind though, now that you put the thought there, LOL.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have about a third of a bowl left of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-1952 (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Gold Star Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching Wanted: Dead or Alive.

Good evening. Let's start smoking with a nice bowl of: C&D: Mississippi Mud, in a MM General. A polar front is coming, which is welcome, we will have snow in the high mountains, rain and a typical winter cold. We will reach 48.2 ° F. For us southerners, that's a lot of cold hahahahahahahah. I love this tobacco, it reminds me of, I honestly don't know.

That is a great tobacco for sure. I love the stuff too. Very smooth and pleasant to smoke. Hope you get the rain as needed.

About a third of a bowl left of Wilke Rum and Maple in a straight smooth with a tobacco leaf carving on the bottom left, dark brown 1980s Sir Brent pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Been busy taking out trash and recycle, and playing with Big Stripesy outside on a beautiful, warm and sunny day.
