Absolutely beautiful GBD - museum quality. I sold GBDs in the 70s and it makes me proud of their quality.Late 19th cent. GBD with unmarked white metal (silver) trumpet mount / ivory stem - a material used along with amber and horn for all pipe stems until the late 1870s when vulcanised rubber took over for all but the most expensive pipes
