Now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2019 black rusticated Peterson 312 full bend billiard with a military mount and a nickel cap with a cumberland 4AB stem and a N.A.P. bit. Going to spend a bit of time outside in the pleasant weather. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Starting to Get Obsessed

Had a chance to enjoy a pipe today. After two weeks of sciatica and finally feeling relief, I grabbed one of my best smokers and two tobaccos. I started with a bowl of a fairly htf, popular tobacco and it burned horrible, started to bite me and just generally burned bad. Probably just a bad pack. So I dumped it out half way and loaded a bowl of semi-dry newer Escudo. After a few puffs it settled down to one of those perfect, simmering bowls. It practically smoked itself, even after putting it down here and there to send a few emails. It got me thinking, we all chase the newest, greatest limited editions, but here’s Escudo, always available, a little expensive, but after smoking many tins throughout the years, it has to be one of the most reliable tobaccos you can buy. No fuss, easy to pack, smokes great every time and it’s never out of stock.
