Looks familiar...

It looks more like sedimentary rock rather than Meer, beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

I’m holding off the 1792/lat blend for my walk so it won’t be in a Meer but a Nording Sailor instead.
I’m watching Prime Ministers Question Time (it’s a terrible habit that I really should seek some sort of help for) with Rattray’s Marlin Flake in my Ornsby Pipe and some more coffee.

Just my 2¢: photo showing the incredible difference between two similar period late 19th cent. meerschaums - one heavily smoked and the other unsmoked . . . as for the likelihood of a heavily smoked meer of that period still possessing its original amber stem I'd say that's pretty slim

It amazes me the color these things get. Also equally amazing is that it takes multiple lifetimes to get there. I wonder what that pipe has seen

Orlik Racing Green-

cracked my first tin of this blend recently and fell in love from the first bowl. Went back and picked up another 2 tins and am hoping this one doesn't get discontinued since It seems like Orlik may have dropped DSK and would hate to see this gem gone forever. It is mild yet flavorful with a tangy citrus from the Virginia. Moisture level is perfect and burns great with no issues.

Happy piping everyone!;)
