Home mix, the last of a tin of Haddo's, some unflavored Black Cavendish, maybe some Semois, in a nice light weight Ropp "Tonic," bright dark red stain, straight billiard with a tapered dark-dark red stem and two thin silver colored bands, nifty little pipe. This mix is really dry and burns well, evenly.

A ways down this bowl of Dunhill Nightcap in this large Jacono Jack. Truly one of my favourite pipes and I got it for a steal during the summer. I wonder why Jacono isn't talked about more often here. The engineering on this piece is spot on and the briar is near perfect. If you think the straight-grain is nice, you need to look at the heel of this pipe!

Smoking C&D/Warped The Haunting in a Boswell Plateau Billiard.

Several months of aging have mellowed the Criollo, and it takes a bit of a backseat to the Virginias. Nice sweetness on the initial draw, with a leathery, tannic, carmelized sugar note on the backend. Voluminous smoke.

I really like this blend. While the Criollo isn’t the strongest cigar leaf, it provides a sufficient cigar flavor, and works well with the Virginias. Glad I set aside a sufficient stash of this.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch and am now smoking year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Going to work in a couple of minutes.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Jim, can you post the picture of this pipe? I've seen the picture a while back, and it such a gook-looking pipe, I'm sure other folk would love to see it. Myeah...
