How are you enjoying Hansom Flake? I’m still in the “getting to know it stage” but it does very much remind me of both Stonehenge Flake & Louisiana Perique Flake. Not bad but I was hoping for something “earth shattering” from a new Gawith release.

I guess I keep up the hope that they’ll be releasing something along the lines of Bracken Flake or Westmoreland Slices for us Yanks. Don’t get me wrong I’m totally thankful for 1792/Lakeland Dark I would just like to see them release another lightly topped stout flake.

And I thought hansom would be more like cabbies. It’s OK but like you, not overly impressed.

It's enjoyable and only slightly Lakelandly, so it can appeal to many. It's not earth shattering and I only picked up a few tins and won't be returning for more.

I am grateful that they keep working at creating new blends.
