I like Klondike gold, it's sad when an enjoyed blend goes the way of the Dodo bird but encouraging to read people are striving to create new loved blends.
Yes, it's very nice, and I'm a little sad that this tin (a Secret Santa gift from weezell) will likely be the only one I ever smoke. But the ephemerality of it also kind of adds to the experience.

Now smoking Wilke Gentry Royal Blend #2 in a 1975 three quarter bend black Dunhill Shell 52021 billiard with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Have a little more work to do. Emergency job is coming in tomorrow, so I'm trying to get ahead on this job so I won't be late on it when I switch to what's coming.

Hadde's Best Irish in a beater pipe (Cornwall a GBD second) while walking the dogs through field and wood on a wonderful sunny morning. Song thrush and European robins singing, a blackbird (another thrush species) gathering nesting material and diving beetles and water striders at the pond. Also a common pheasant cock standing proudly in the sun. No toads or frogs yet.
