I found the phone I left on the X17 bus yesterday
This morning (after visiting the bus depot to check lost property) I saw the bus stop display at the Stagecoach Bus Depot stop on Sheffield Road in Chesterfield said "X17 in 5min".
I noticed it was the same bus (fleet number 15687) as I'd caught yesterday and by chance I was sitting in the same seat.
After checking the floor of the bus yesterday (on its return from Wirksworth) I found it had dropped down between the seat and the side of the bus
The phone must have dropped out of my pocket & fallen down the side of the seat when I got up to get off the bus. Glad to get it back!
I found out that over 1 million mobile phones get lost on public transport every year:

Glad everything's ok now, just letting you know I've got my phone back.

Sitting in my garage on another cloudy day enjoying a breakfast cigar this morning. Thinking about my dad and how annoyed he would be that I’m enjoying a cigar. I have no idea why but he always disliked cigars. Anyway, today’s choice is an Oliva Connecticut reserve Churchill. I miss the grumpy old man. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads on here.
