Half way through his bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Never did get back to sleep... maybe later, but it'll be as busy as can be today, so sleep will just have to wait. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Just fed Tomato the Brave his wet food breakfast, and he's eating dry food at the moment. Daisy the Feral Princess ate earlier, and ignored me when I called for her a few minutes ago. Even though there's dry food outside, Harry the Hairy wants to eat inside. He'll have to wait until Tomato's done. Haven't looked for Abner the Eager yet. The sun is out, and rain is still in the forecast. The humidity is very high so I may not do any walking. Still deciding on that. Watching the Nats-Marlins game.

I gave up alcohol almost two and half years ago. At that time I tried Heineken Zero which was horrible. Since then I have never tried non alcoholic beers, till today. I must have forgotten the taste but the Guinness Zero Tasted almost like the real thing.

I’ve been on KP Detail all day but finished making Crab Cakes, Deviled Crabs. Deviled Eggs, Potato Salad , Crab Imperial Stuffing and Hush Puppies to get a head start for tomorrow for my FIL.
The majority the cooking is done so I won’t have to scramble as much tomorrow except to stuff the Rockfish for Chesapeake Bay Imperial. The dishwasher is slam full

Did half a set of walking reps due to the heat, humidity and lack of sleep, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a 1980s straight smooth Big Ben pot with a nickel band and a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe was gifted to me by Mark Ryan. The pipe did well while walking though I prefer a lighter bowl. Didn't see Abner the Eager as I usually do. Perhaps all the racket from the neighbors getting trees cut down has kept him away for now.
Mixture 79 in one of my Washington cobs. It goes well with a cup of cocoa-spiked coffee.
