Half and Half in a middle sixties Dr Grabow Adjustomatic Golden Duke Bulldog.

In 1965 they made over three and a half million pipes at Sparta. This Golden Duke cost $5

All the customer had to do was remove the thin varnish with 4/0 steel wool and apply mineral oil or olive oil

These flat out were the fanciest grained pipes ever sold in mass quantities.

Sutliff 507-C in the Vauen Olaf 4873 bent egg ... I was running out and placed an order with SP.com on Monday; Laudisi estimated Friday delivery; Tracking estimated Thurs by 7pm; UPS came today at 5:32 pm just as I finished second to last bowl of my stock. UPS driver saw the pipe and said he was thinking of switching soon from cigarrettes so I gave him a 4 minute intro to the benefits and referred him to this forum for further research and any questions. Maybe I converted someone ... hope so ... more interest helps the rest of us.

C&D Bow-legged Bear in an EXTRA Jobey bent Dublin, in the garage.

This stuff, frankly, should taste much better from the description. But it was just tinned within a month or so, so maybe that’s it. Aroma in the tin is wonderful, crumbles easily, but taste and strength that’s more of a medium than advertised.

Burns well but hot, and if the heat is from the Virginias, it’s not particularly sweet. Will bite you in a way most English blends won’t. If you like your English blends more perique and oriental heavy, you’re more apt to like this one. Latakia flavor is lacking.

Going to smoke one 2oz. cake and cellar 3 of them for a few years. Contrary to popular belief, I think English blends DO benefit from aging. Maybe a revisit then will make me a fan.IMG_2289.jpeg
