Not at all typical Block Meerschaum smokes cool and dry. Been smoking it a couple of years and its coloring nicely without the aid of a coloring bowl.
Now I feel like an idiot.....I thought it was a briar pipe!!!! Lmao. Looked like a burnout coming. My bad! Actually maybe we are looking at different pipes. I was referring to your kaywoodie magnum

Haunted Bookshop (bulk) in the Dunhill bulldog with a cup of Yorkshire gold.

This was one of my first tobaccos, it was good, but i was more an English guy at the time so didnt pay much attention. Personally, this just hits the spot perfectly. Never done OJK but i’m going to give that one a shot next as well as the HB Cake.

If anyone is a Hb lover and found a blend that they think is even better, let me know!

John, sure sorry you are feeling so bad and for so long. Hope you get over it soon.
But..... I gotta say that your line: "I still have a nose like a stuffed baboon's ass." has to be the quote of the day.....

Get better soon.
I agree! Thanks for this comment @Choatecav.
I am sorry you are feeling so bad @JOHN72 . But I also have to admit, your comment about the stuffed baboon ass had me busting up! Praying for your health sir.

Been sitting outside smoking a bowl of Balkan Sasieni in an Ashton XXX Pebble Grain lovat (1998) and reminiscing about the good old days. For St. Paul-area members, the original Tobak Shop (late '60s-mid-'70s) used to be located at 71 N. Snelling Ave in the front half (above the step-down) of what is now Cheapo Records. Every day people like Lamott Foxworth, Jay Tirpek, Ralph Nett, Bill Conley, Bob Swanson, Dennis Congas and others would gather to smoke and chew the fat, names that won't mean anything to members here (except maybe Bob and Dennis), but people I like to recall, and think should be "immortalized" in some small way.

Good morning! Crews working on installing underground utility lines on our street this morning. First thing they did? Run over my mailbox unloading and Ditch Witch. After a brief conversation, the supervisor agreed they would install a new mailbox once
work on my street is complete. Accidents happen. He did the right thing. All good. Time for my morning routine. Coffee, burley, cob.

Sorry about the mail box, but sounds like you had a good attitude about it. As I get older, I am a bit more "forgiving" about stuff like that.

A third of a bowl left of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Sleepy Suzy, Molly Danger, Daisy the Feral Princess, and Tomato the Brave. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on the couch. I'll look to see if Abner the Eager is around very soon. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Hopefully your brand-spanky shiny new mailbox is a nice upgrade. ;)

When i was a union carpenter in my younger years i had a situation where one of the excavators ran over my tool bags. The only thing that i remember getting broken was a mini level and my hammer holster got bent. The next day they provided me with all new hand tools (which was overkill - they all became backups, minus the level). I worked my whole career with that bent hammer holster and figured it just added character to the bags.

Currently smoking an after-breakfast bowl of fresh Sansepolcro in a Fikri Baki bamboo while looking through the planner and gearing up to take on the day's toil.
