Fed my cats, Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. It's hot and humid today, but I'll be able to walk before the rain comes later this day.

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Abner the Eager was lying in the grass under a shady tree. I went to see if he wanted to eat, but all he wanted to do was to stay where he was, so I let him be. He'll be hungry soon enough.

Hi Jim,
Do you smoke you pipes as you walk (lunting)? Also, what is your total number of cats? My wife is a huge cat person and I have mentioned Tomato the Brave and some of the others and she asked me how many in all. She has five, but none have the cool names that yours do. ha.

GL Pease Telegraph Hill from 2021 in an IMP Meer. I am going to compare Telegraph Hill from 2007 with 2021.

I'll be very interested in your findings. Telegraph Hill was my first intro to GLP blends -- and I loved it. I have a tin in my stock, but it's only about 2 years old. Nice looking Meer by the way. Cheers!

A rare noon hour smoke for me today. Was enthused enough with the morning's that I decided to do a repeat before lunch, with a different pipe. Yup, it was the Mr. Brog nosewarmer with Captain Black Dark again. Yup, it was just as good.

Both pipes, the Brog and the Ropp, (and the big Meerschaum Rhodesian), are biased for the same tobaccos. My planned and now pretty much implemented rotation is a small pipe, a medium, and a large, for each dedicated tobacco or genre. The Brog is not part of the rotation, but in my travel kit, and will see extensive use on day outings throughout the year. Three travel kits (six pipes - two in each plus a couple of cigars, chew, etc) for outings.) It's kind of like its own rotation as I average 3 trips a week, fishing, hunting and photography. Works for me. No Forgettable Drivel today - ya just had it! (Well, maybe tonight . . . . )
