Took time out from jarring up tobacco to have some of this. Better than expected. Much prefer this blend to Sam Gawith's Balkan Flake.
Dan, based on your posts over the months, I tried an Old German clay with a 20×40 bowl size. I was very surprised how well it smoked. At 1/100th the cost of an artisan pipe, I am sold!

Zamora, yes, I was skeptical as well. With two years or more of age it is worthy the premium price. I do prefer the Small Batch Carolina Red Flake from C&D but can only get limited amounts every two years.

Going to have Dan Tobacco Devil’s Holiday in a Sunday Cob Pipes (of Washington, Missouri) Stacked Dublin Churchwarden out on the porch. I don’t smoke most of my pipes outside, unless they’re cobs—I don’t worry about dropping cobs as much as my other pipes (even though this one, given its age, would be difficult to replace).
Is that a songbird in the background? What kind of bird is it?
Being relatively new to Pennsylvania, scrapple has been a more recent discovery in the last year or two. I like it quite a bit.
Did a set of walking reps under cloudy, humid skies, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
One more pipe before i run off to Costo and the local butcher for carnivore delights.

One of my blends in a new-to-me Upshall. This may be the biggest bowl that I’ve smoked. I have an old Autograph that’s big, but I’ve never smoked it. This one is slightly ghosted with something vanilla, maybe some 1Q. Will need some more cleaning!
