Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost half way through this bowl of Wesley’s No.15 Three Quarter Flake in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow stem. Posted my Wesley's reviews at TR today for those who may have an interest in South African tobaccos that use Empire/G&H-like leaf.

I was gonna wait until tomorrow, but decided no better time than the present to crack this tin of GLP Temple Bar, Nov 18 open and enjoy a smoke. First time smoking this blend.
Thanks @hoosierpipeguy
The tin note is very interesting- very subtle sweet, with a sour, somewhat pungent note. Reminded me a little of pineapple?
Got the Altinay Rusticated Dublin Meer ready to go. Glass of ice water to accompany this first smoke.

I’ll post my notes to Tobacco Reviews thread.
