Just finishing this bowl of Wilke Rum and Maple in a straight smooth with a tobacco leaf carving on the bottom left, dark brown 1980s Sir Brent pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Only control I'm going to have over my clay pipe smoking is to give my lighter away and not buy any more baccy...

Did a short walk session in this brutal heat and humidity, and am not far from finishing this bowl of D&R Ryback in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. More ice water and bergs is helping me out.
About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2016 Orlik Golden Sliced in a smooth brown medium bend Abbott 788 (Sasieni family era) author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Getting ready to watch the Braves-Mets game. I want to see Ohtani pitch against the Yankees, so I'm recording that game to watch later.

This is my 2nd smoke of SD. I took some advice and sliced and rubbed it out to a shag. I also packed a smaller portion in a smaller pipe. Sips. Much better today.
