I’m smoking Original Walnut Flake in the brown leather Longchamp bulldog and drinking a Tanqueray and grapefruit with a big dash of Angostura, one of my favourite summer beverages, View attachment 86093while watching the rugby.
Excellent performance from the Lions so far, I hope Wynn Jones will be able to continue the tour.
Happy smokes

No pipe picture today, I'm smoking my trusty Nate King meerschaum prince, but the focus is on the Franken-mixture: 70/30 C&D Carolina Red Flake with Perique and Shortcut to Mushrooms -

Love it. I have a Weber and a side smoker, but the Big Green Egg is the best cooker I've ever had. They are expensive, but worth every penny. Last week I fixed a steak, ran it up to 600+ degrees to sear the exterior, then 3 or 4 minutes to a side - perfect. When I cook chicken its easy to set at 350 degrees for slow indirect cooking. It also keeps meats moist. I thought before I had one they were an overpriced fad. I couldn't have been more wrong. Every inch is high quality, heavy duty construction.

Not far from finishing this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
