First some G&H Brown Flake Unscented (sent by a good buddy) in a new-to-me Scandia with some cool grain on it. Seems to have some kind of minor whistle-y obstruction in the stem that will take a little work.

Half way through this freshly opened tin of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 87 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this pipe. Did a set of walking reps in this blistering heat and humidity, so I'm drinking plenty of ice water and bergs. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

I spent this past weekend moving my daughter out of her rental house at college. I was so busy that I never had a chance to sit down and relax with a smoke. The first thing I did after arriving home from work today was pack a MM Country Gentleman with Esoterica Dunbar and head to the porch to make up for lost time.
