My daughter turns 4 on Monday so preparing for her party tomorrow. I'm smoking 3 10lb shoulders later this afternoon and on through the night. Pulled pork sandwiches are her favorite. This is what I’ll be smoking when I get home tomorrow. Fat cutthroats with nearly red meat from the Flat Tops here in Colorado. In the meantime it’s Blairgowrie in a Ferndown bent bulldog.

Have you tried beeswax on the bowl? I’d check with someone with more knowledge than myself but it’s supposed to help with colouring. I think you’re supposed to smoke very slowly afterwards so the wax doesn’t just melt down and colour the bottom and shank. Lovely piece though nonetheless.

Afternoon everyone, the Wales/ Switzerland match ended in a draw. It’s the one thing I hate about the game, in my opinion there’s got to be a winner even if they have to sub the whole squad. Anyone remember the ‘03 Dallas/ Anaheim NHL playoff game, I think it was a hour and a half overtime and I was on the edge of my seat throughout, and that wasn’t even the longest OT I think.
Anyhoo, Denmark and Finland are at it now (I’d rather be watching baseball though) and I’m having Capstan Blue in the bent Ornsby Pipe.
