... and the chatter about Chimay gave me a warm feeling inside thinking about Chimay Bleu/nectar of the gods. What Belgium is probably most famous for that is apart from Hergé and his wonderful Tintin books

Chimay Bleu, one of the finest brews ever made, the red isn’t far behind. I’ve not seen the Adnams Brown around these parts though, and very little Chimay to be honest.

Revisiting this home-brewed plug of Layer Cake. After this picture I cube cut the slice and let gravity pack it into the Preben. The plug has a little over a year of age whereas some of the leaf if is three or four years old. Really quite nice!

Bayou Morning in the 1922 Masta Patent Pipe (not really sure what the specific Patent is on this pipe or it’ bent twin, it seems a pretty straightforward billiard to me) these are two of my best smokers and both were unused when purchased.
