Just finished my first bowl of GLP Union Square in a Castello Natural Vergin freehand. Definitely an outstanding tobacco.
There‘s enough there to hold your interest. It’s worth it if you can find it at retail price. I would not pay over that.
C&D Derringer in my Rattrays meer -just pulled a pork shoulder out of the smoker, time to let it rest while I smoke this ...have a nice evening folks!
Gawith and Hogarth Dark Flake Aromatic in a Butz Choquin 9mm bent Billiard. 
Derringer is a very underrated blend. I have an SMS meer just like that but the inner wall (inside the lattice) is so thin that it smokes hot no matter what I do. A disappointment since it was a gift from a dear friend. Hope yours smokes well.

2019 Carolina Red Flake on a windy Chicago eve. Age has helped this blend tremendously.
I think you might appreciate a musical analogy. If Yorktownis the alto sax, Derringer is the tenor. Or. If Yorktown is the trumpet, Derringer is the flu gal horn.@edger -completely delicious! i definitely read a number of your remarks about this blend on the forum when looking into it
1998 Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky in a Jack Howell Paneled.
A fast, before-dinner bowl of GL Pease Quiet Nights in an MM Cob (doesn't really do the blend justice, for me, like, say, Carter Hall in a cob which I've found to be delightful and perhaps better than in a briar).

Unbranded early 20th century nose-warmer:-
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Larry's Espresso #9, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Dodgers game.
