A mixture of 2019 peter heinrich's special curly and 2014 Veermaster in a lovely DUNHILL SHELL PATENT - 1953.

I am not sure which one of you decided to let go of this beautifully smoking machine, but I thank you! It tastes so sweet, and I don't think it's from the tobaccos...never had a pipe smoke sweet before!

Just had an exhilarating walk amongst the largest grove of giant sequoias in the world. Hart Tree > Sugar Bowl Trail loop in Sequoia/King's Canyon NP.

I was hankering for a bowl of ODF but I'm pretty pooped so I opted for a cigar so I could "set it and forget it". Smoking a Rocky Patel "Edge" Maduro torpedo and occasional bowls of Do-Si-Dos grown by 14er Holistics in Boulder CO to soothe my throbbing calves, feet and hamstrings.View attachment 86505View attachment 86506View attachment 86507
At first sight I thought the top photo was a close up of flake pipe tobacco or an English or even a mix of the two

I think it's a Praetor (ancient Roman magistrates ranking below consul) and it's Italian made with models such as Praetor Prima, Praetor Uno Walnut, Praetor Cicero, Praetor Brio and Praetor Forum ...

@MrTom There seem to have been a lot of smuggled cigarettes seized by police and customs on the TV documentaries and websites...
Only joking @halfdan, I've been stung by customs duty on a friend from the US sending me Pipe tobacco, the government treat us like criminals for the anti pipe establishment trying to spoil our pipe pleasure. I will have to get my claypipes out and smoke some Frog Morton cellar that got passed the Goverments unjust tax, the goverment in some states legalise pot and seek to outlaw us tobacco pipe smokers.!!! Anyway a sore point.

Enjoy your claypipes Stan

Thank you for the assistance.
I took a closer look and you are correct. Thanks again.

Was a little north of you just last week!

8 days in Le Conte Canyon. Enjoyed PS Luxury Navy Flake and Match Elizabethan daily until I left my MM Little Devil Cutty at the Cartridge Creek bridge near its confluence with the MF of the Kings on day 5 :(

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, steel head trout and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of Motzek (TAK) P-Cones in a 1980s White Pipe straight lattice apple meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Working on a review of this, and all the Motzek blends I have been smoking lately. Going to brew some Community Coffee before long.
