What don't you like about it? Perhaps it needs a little dry time if you haven't given it any?Today was Tilbury, which I very much liked. Yesterday was Dunbar, which I don't thinking I'm crazy for.
I did dry it fairly well. I could allow more time. My goto is Escudo for vaper right now. My pallette may not be all that refined, but I was left wanting a bit more ...body? The flavor was bright, toasty, and a bit sweet, but it felt thin, too light, too airy. Escudo I think is a richer for me. I'm not giving up, I have 4 oz of it. So I'll be working my through it ha!What don't you like about it? Perhaps it needs a little dry time if you haven't given it any?
I see your problem. You want an earthier, deeper, spicier flavor than you can get from Dunbar, which doesn't have nearly as much darker Virginia or perique. Dorchester, which has more perique than Dunbar, doesn't have the Virginias you prefer either. If you have any dark Va. and perique handy, you could mix in a little of each, and see if that gives you a better smoking experience.I did dry it fairly well. I could allow more time.
