Sam Gawith St. James flake in a new MarTelo rusticated billiard with Mamoth accent. What an awesome smoke, this pipe smokes so dry..that I am really confused and rethinking my briar line up, of 100-200 even some 500+ pipes haven't surprised me this way.
I am not sure if it's the briar, the workmanship or the fact I am not clenching it as much due to respect, but it's really amazing.

Did you put a finish on this pipe, or have you been smoking plenty of "stank"? (that's what my grandfather used to call any strong-smelling, oily pipe tobacco).
