Just finished off this bit of GL Pease Fillmore 2007 in an IMP billiard. It was spectacular! Being 13 yrs old you’d expect the aging process to enhance your the enjoyment of Virginias/VaPers. Occasionally, I’m slightly dissatisfied with the experience of smoking aged blends...definitely not this time. The flavor was more subtle and soft. The sweetness was over abundant, with simmered stewed fruits of plum, fig and some cherry as well. Decomposing hay from the Virginia melded with the stewed perique made for a fantastic 1 hour smoking experience on a cool 59 degree night. Can’t wait to do it again.☕D5702626-42A2-4ED5-B5E2-072CCC471E89.jpeg

A third of the way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I may finish the day with this smoke if I get all my chores done in time.
