Good to know... love you all on this threadNope it’s not that great!
Cool, Ralph/Mallory might become a pet?! I raised a Sparrow on babyfood and an eye dropper that fell from a nest as a young kid of about six years. Named him/her Chirpy of course! ? When it was apparently pooping all over the house my mom convinced me it was time to let him fly with the other birds. However, Chirpy kept coming home in the evenings. Neighborhood friends would also bring him/her back to the house. "We found your bird!," they would exclaim. It was the coolest thing coming home after school, I could recognize Chirpy's chirp up in the trees with other birds. Held up my hand, and out of the tree flys this Sparrow to land on my finger to go inside for the evenning. Unfortunately, Chirpy met a very untimely demise, my mother came to tell me the bad news one day after I was home from school and couldn't find him. She let me know he/she kept flying back into the house as she tried to put him out in the morning before she could close the door. So, she tried to close the door quickly and she heard a chirp.... *open door*... and *plop. That was the day when she took us to get Hammy the Hamster. Hammy had a full life, and even got to eat the couch over a surprise birthday weekend when I was taken to Disneyland. Hammy even got to make a nest out of the couch where I had accidentally left him while playing over that weekend =) ?So this is either Ralph or Mallory the Mallard Duckling.
little guy was wandering around our yard this morning no clue where he came from. No other baby ducks at the nearby creek. Wildlife Rehab is on their way to pick him/her up. He/she’s just been chilling in this box!
