Bored as hades and looking for something to lift me from the pandemic doldrums. Reached into the cellar and pulled out a tin of RO Series Acadian English from 2016. Popped the vacuum and asked myself if I wanted to smoke it or eat it. It smelled that damn good.

Packed for soon, when I take a break from busying around, Sutliff Balkan Sobranie 759 Match in a Kaywoodie Saxon blast straight billiard w/tapered stem, a nice lithe pipe that still has enough wall to the bowl to stay cool; the pipe goes with another Kaywoodie Saxon I have, a panel billiard blast. Gone are the days when Kaywoodie cost a little more than Dunhills, though both were premium pipes but not super expensive. A young guy on a first job could still afford either if he saved a bit.
