Enjoyed a few slices of cinnamon raisin French toast, three open face ham, cheddar cheese and double eggs sandwiches, unsalted peanuts, a few Oreo cookies (haven't eaten those in over a decade), and a big golden delicious apple lunch. I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Yemen Mocha High Grown, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Good day all! Late start due to indecision about what to smoke in the shade on 100 degree days. Settled on Peterson Royal Yacht in an Upshall P Dublin with beveled rim and pencil shank with tapered stem and put fire to a bowl. Very nice and the nic hit makes the heavy heat quite relaxing and more bearable. A light English is up next, namely Pease Samarra.

Hello, WAYS! Been a bit so here's a little catch up from my neck of the woods.

Last Thursday, wife and I went to see mc chris at the 1884 Lounge in Memphis. Show was great, he was celebrating 20yrs on tour and this is the first concert I had ever been to where the artist had no set list. He just picked folks from the audience for requests! 20 or so killer tracks, some of which were deep cuts where he had to pull up lyrics on his laptop but it was loads of fun! (Forum appropriate track if you're unaware of mc chris)

Friday, got home at a decent hour and visited with in-laws before wife and I went home for a date night. Got to watch the new Happy Gilmore movie in the bunkhouse and enjoyed some Sansepolcro while we watched. I also hung the b-day gifts from my in-laws while we were out there.

Woke up early Saturday morning and got out on my motorcycle. I headed to Reelfoot Lake and rode around Dyer Co. a bit before heading home. Wife, kids, and in-laws headed out around noon for Orlando so I made it back with time to see them off.

Buddy came over after lunch and we watched anime while working through both of SP's 25th blends. I also got into the humidor for a Flathead.

Woke up early on Sunday and mowed the grass before church. Zippo was dry and I didn't realize it before getting the mower going so no Gentleman Caller in my cob till after church when I took the dog around the yard. Not as good as when I can smell the fresh cut grass but still nice as the bowl was already packed and a little dried out.

Today is my 36th birthday and I'm giving Bow Legged Bear a go in a new to me Baraccini Copper Dublin while I try and finish season two of Solo Leveling. Buddy should be over when he gets off work and maybe I'll get another bowl in before bed.

Hope everyone has a great week! I'll be flying to Orlando on Wednesday to catch up with my family ✌🏼

Those little nasties finally drove me out of my berry patch yesterday. Sat down to get at the low branches on an absolutely loaded saskatoon bush, and next thing I knew, there were in my trackpants, on my feet, and yowzer, did they bite. Even got at my healed-up operation area, just above my crotch.

We're absolutely loaded with ants up north - hills everywhere. They'll clean up a rabbit in a week, and as you saw, drowned worms in a day. Whenever i go on a rampage with nests in my yard, I think of the stink that would be otherwise, and leave them alone.

As an interesting aside, I've had only a few strays in my house since I've been growing tobacco plants indoors. Maybe those of you who also grow and can chime in here - it's very noticeable over past years.
We've always had them and I've had a few climb me but I can't recall feeling bitten. The ones I'm talking about are so small you almost really need a magnifying glass to see them. Down here we have a cheap antiseptic cleaner called 'Fabulosa' ... like a lavender scented Lysol ... it dissolves ants and bees on contact for future reference. ( I discovered that in desperation with a hornet one day ! ) Also a little Avon Skin So Soft spray around your pants cuffs will repel bugs and ticks ... its one of the thousand listed uses ... I think it has camphor or eucalyptis oil in it. Enjoy those berries ... I've just got wild rasberry patches courtesy of the birds. Always fun to pick while smoking a pipe and practicing your clench.
