I’ve had a fun but exhausting weekend and yesterday morning I was happy to wake up only a quarter dead instead of half based on how much cycling and boozing I did on Friday night. In Milwaukee we have had an annual bike event for the past 15 years or so called the Riverwest 24, a 24 hour bike race. It’s a great time and while it is a “race,” it’s in name only though there is a podium and team classes. Anyways I’ve been on teams and rode on shifts during all times of the day but now that I’m older I’m usually just spectating and enjoying the company of my friends and just enjoying it. The weather turned out great for it as well. View attachment 407090

This morning I’m easing into the day with a bowl of Sherlock Holmes in a Grabow with a hot cup of coffee and my cat snoozing by my side. View attachment 407091
Heavy, we need clarification...... Are you saying that this year you "cycled and boozed" or "spectated and boozed?"

Notice that the common denominator in both of these selections is "boozed." :ROFLMAO:

Started the morning with Wilke’s 515 in a Straus Tobbaconist Own Make. This bowl lasted an hour and 10 minutes which has to be a record for me!View attachment 407038
70 minutes is very good for that size of bowl, indeed. My smoking pleasure has certainly improved with my improvement in slow smoking - cosmicfolklore's PDF (available on site) was a great help in my progress. Thought I was a slow smoker when I arrived on forum! :ROFLMAO: Got a way's to go, too, btw.

That pipe looks like a good smoker, too!
