A smattering of each C&D XXV blend was dropped off by Santa the mailman today!!
While the source remains questionable, I’m tickled!
Gracie’s trying to bite Bob’s face off because I’m dawdling taking a pic of the NoName Dane and myself while the hay cart is full and their bins are empty.

Ha, ha, they sure don't share your level of patience when it comes to feed time. And it's funny how they will focus that frustration on one another, like they are the reason for the delay..... :col:

Quite some time has passed since I last posted. My baby is now a toddler and almost 17 months now and that means less time for smoking or keeping up with the WAYS thread.

Smoking some Five Brothers while breaking in a new Vauen Dr. Perl McRooty 9 I got as an refurbished estate from Mr. @Dshift. It’s a great pipe that was designed for those old 4mm paper filters so it’s pretty old.
Good to see you're back and that the baby is doing well.
Nice looking Vauen.....

Passing the last third of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. I'll check on the ferals soon. Plenty of ice water and bergs right now on this exceptionally humid day.

Good Morning to All. Significant Morning Smoke to post today. Change of pace from my usual minicob cherry and grape cigar. This morning, I loaded my pipsqueek McQueen Miniature Acorn with Bengal Slices, and so enjoyed it that I reloaded the same pipelet (hardly ever do this) for a repeat. Not quite as good, as expected, but good enough. For whatever reason, this combination has always given me about 25 minutes (it's dedicated to this tobacco, which leads to an interesting find in today's Skippable Drivel, posted below the rather hastily done and sloppily processed pic.

Skippable Drivel: Currently, as usual, chomping on a Phillies Blunt Chocolate cigar as I type, which goes a lot better with cold black coffee than a grape one does.

Great Find Today. I just emptied the half tin of Bengal Slices I had in my hand, into a small jar, and didn't quite fill it. Figuring I had only one tin left, I had a feeling that something was not quite right, and did a clean up of my drawer chest in my bedroom ,where I keep my stash. I discovered 3 unopened tins of Bengal Slices. 🙃 :)puffy🙃🙃👍👍👍:ROFLMAO::coffee::coffee:puffyrotf:sher: Totally forgot that I bought them from the Mohawk Reserve a couple of months ago when they got a bunch in as a one-time stock item. It's not been back since, and probably won't. A bargain at $48 Canadian a tin.

To say that I'm thrilled, is an understatement. It's in my Magnificent 7 collection, and I now have more of this great tobacco than Mad Fiddler, Black Frigate, Steamworks, Sav 140, et all . . . . . like, crazy, man!

The fun job now is to select a medium bowl pipe for one of my two travel kits, because I do an outing to the range, Cottonwood Park, or other picnic site on average 3 times a week. As the pipes that are in my kits do not count in my collection, that also means that I'll be able to buy another pipe for the home set. When I can, of course. As I'm hurting all over for another Ropp, I've just elected my J05 as the new tribal outing member, as I type. Impulsive I am. It's gonna be a fun selection for the new one. Etudiante. Which one? Only the Shadow Knows.

Sorry for my ebullience, but my health, tastebuds and recovery are all progressing very well, and yeah, I'm obviously enthused. It is important to remember, though, that every silver lining has a cloud.

Only gripe now is the four or five pipes I have that are still not yet fully broken in. I'm sure that I'm not alone here, as a lot of you seem to be aquiring new toys at an unusual rate, too, and unless there is something wrong with your head, you are not fond of this necessary task either. The only other thing in pipeland I can think of that is as distasteful is a case of tongue bite.

So, going to do some catching up on posting activities, then go out and play. Might not be back tonight lol. Only the Shadow Knows for sure, eh? Have a great Friday.

Did a set of walking reps in the sweltering heat and humidity, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave stayed under the neighbor's car and watched me walking. Harry the Hairy was in the same neighbor's yard rolling around in the grassy shade as he watched me, too. Daisy the Feral Princess waited on the deck for me. I fed all three. Didn't see Abner the Eager. This is seventh day that he's been gone. He was missing that long one other time. Hope he shows up soon.
