Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Then, I fed Daisy the Feral Princess, Tomato the Brave, and Harry the Hairy. Still haven't seen Abner the Eager. Watching the Orioles-Guardians game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Last Night's Smoke: entertaining smoke with a buddy from Vanderfoot, and fascinating story 4 U in Skippable Drivel. But cutting to the chase, I had an excellent smoke, a tobacco new to me, Arango Balkan Supreme, which I smoked in my beautiful McQueen Russet in ashwood. I'm on an English roll right now, especially in the afternoons, when they are usually my go-to smoke. It's a fine tobacco, very similar to Brigham's English Mix, a bit less foreward and smoother, to my current palate at least

Skippable Drivel: John, a buddy of mine from the Fraser Lake area, paid an all too rare visit to me last night, bearing gifts. He recently visited the legendary Nathan, a bulk tobacco procurer from various places in the north, who had at the last holiday weekend performed a magic trick at the Vancouver border, and got in, according to the skuttlebutt, 84 kg of the product in one fell swoop. Hollow tires perhaps. I was wondering why some of my friends up here were smoking English. It's all they can get until Nathan's next magic trip, unless they can pay local outlets $60 - 100 bucks a package, which few of them can do.

I quite liked this tobacco, so while John most generously gave me a plastic baggie of Balkan Supreme, I took pity on him, and negotiated for 2+ ounces, giving him 3 small jars of various Smoker's Pride aromatics, which his system was crying out for, and I have in abundance. So I now have about the same amount of Arango Balkan Supreme as I do of Black Frigate and Brigham's English Mix, plus enough others to keep me happy.

So now you have a better idea of what is really happening in Canada. What is talked about casually is only part of it. And, if you are an old fart like me, you'd remember the old 1950s show, "Dragnet", starring Jack Webb. A great show whose introductory line was: "This is a true story. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent."

Will catch up on thread posts later. Teaching day.

Good day all! Started with KBV Van Gogh in a wee Upshall sandblast Dublin with smooth top and eighth-bent tapered stem size 3. Am employing an "artisanal" (aka Florida Swamper) drying technique on the seeming fireproof KBV Spacial Cuts #2, namely depositing said tobacco on a plaque pour placer un sacrifice (cup saucer) on my table pour fumer (workbench in a damnably hot Florida garage) for a peu de temps (couple of days). Very artisanal. If the wildlife gets into it, so much the better. I'll have someone or thing to smoke with.

Did a set of walking reps on this hot and very humid day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. It's an off diet day! :)

First up is my usual burley, coffee, cob. I’m training for a century occurring in September. For the non cyclists that’s a 100 mile ride. I must be crazy! 🤪 This morning I was surrounded by rain showers. Trying to weave through or outrun them is useless. Got very wet today!🚴

Hey Man,
You had the fortitude to get out there and go regardless. I’d love to do a Century and look forward to seeing your photos from it in the future 👏

No, not crazy, but motivated and involved. Kudos and a tip of the hat!

Enjoyed a big plate of chicken casserole followed by a big bowl of fifteen bean soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Dessert was a couple of big peaches and some strawberry ice cream. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Yemen Mocha High Grown, neat, is my drink. Got three home made plug blends from a friend to try out.
