I think the marketing guys at C&D have great imagination. Cross-Eyed Cricket? Who wouldn't want to try it? :ROFLMAO:

It's like their Mad Fiddler, for me. Had to try it because I actually was given that nickname due to a particularly stellar solo violin performance of Stravinsky's "L'histoire Du Soldat" in my playing days. The fact that I actually loved the tobacco was a bit irrelevant - I'd have kept a tin on hand and display just because of the name.

Hats Off to the guys at C&D. They're at the top of their game!
A few months ago at Ye Ole Pipe Shoppe in Jackson, TN, a couple of us were laughing at the tins of "Purple Cow". I felt my entertainment at the name and silly artwork deserved the spend. The tin went around the table, surprising some with it's complexity. As for me, it's now a staple in my cellar and has a dedicated purple Pocket Jar. No clue where the name came from but it was odd enough to make me buy it and try. Well done, C&D marketing 👏🏼.

From this Cornell & Diehl Classic Series there is also Kajun Kake tobacco, also with an interesting pattern 😬referring us to the rivers of Louisiana.
