Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Tomato the Brave showed up, and is getting extra food. He's fiercely chowing down. I'm getting ready to clean a few pipes that I smoked earlier today.

Now smoking year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Tomato the Brave is laying by my feet. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

Phone rang very early this morning from the neighbour, was his wife. Bull had her husband on the ground and wouldn’t leave him, could I come. I rushed over with my dogs and they forced the bull off the body and then I pulled him under the rail but he was gone. Ambulance and Police are there now and a wife a three small children have lost their father this morning. I‘ve just lit my pipe and settling down and giving my dogs a big cuddle, fuck life is fickle!
If that were my Dad ... Grand Dad ... I'd begin a shopping search for 2 items:
A brand new, dedicated Chest Freezer --- and:

Sitting on patio enjoying a very welcome rain (and light show) in a lull of what’s been a hellaciously windy thunderstorm. 87* feels cool after the last few days.
Enjoying a sample of ‘21 KBV Verve Engine that @lukasstrifeson included on a recent purchase-thanks!
Pipe is an interesting Peterson Sterling banded 338-has a block made in Ireland COM stamp with what looks like a 1999 hallmark.

It was too windy earlier, but yall get an obligatory horse pic anyway. It kind of counts, because I had a snort of Scottish snuff (thanks @khiddy!)

After all my anti-aromatic ranting and hoo-ha, I may have found a tobacco some call an aromatic that I actually like! 2010 Mick McQuaid plug in my Danske billiard. My tasting notes from way back included a "too wet" criticism, but that problem has disappeared. I thought it might be too dry as I was preparing it (quite a task), but turns out it's smoking great and tastes good. The topping is no longer noticeable in the jar, but smells instead like wonderful raisins and dates. Rich and smooth.

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am smoking year 2012 Virginia Spice in a 1979 brown grain etched Lane Era Charatan's Make medium bend calabash shape 483DC with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Good blend although I over bought it. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave ate again, and then wanted out. Still haven't seen the other two ferals.

Amazing how fast things can happen. Even though he wasn’t saved, your presence and actions made the horrible event a little less horrible I’m sure.
Damn…
